The history of America would be very different today if not for its gunsmiths, throughout its long life both as a colony and a country it has relied on them for the tools to gather food and for protection.

At one time firearms were built with fire and hammer and the strong arms of the gunsmith.  The men that plied this trade were part engineer and part artist, they created not only reliable and accurate guns for the times but extremely beautiful ones.

Today we have several large manufactures of firearms, and they produce fine weapons for the average hunter or plinker.  But their are still gunsmiths that take pride in taking the average rifle and turning it into a true work of art, not just in its looks but in its ability to hit the mark at truly long ranges.

The Gunsmiths will bring to the viewers the best of the American gunsmiths, Barrel and Stock Makers, and Engravers all on one show.
